What is the weight in line should I use?
This model of the rod is much thicker line, it must be said, the first number is closer to the list of # of the line, if the bar is not nine feet, so I would say it was a 9wt rod, but without more information and images that I can not be more helpful, I think it could be a 6MWT to then try a line 6MWT with him.
