Boat Rod Telescopic
Can anyone recommend a fishing rod and reel good beginner?
I'm anxious to get my fishing partner for beginners a set for his birthday. He plans to fish in a canal (to rent a boat for our honeymoon.) I think a telescopic rod can be good. You fishermen (or women) have suggestions for a good rod / reel / SET to buy? Thanks
I would go with an ugly stick Combo Shakespeare. Who will cost about $ 30 and you can get a Wal-Mart, a very sensitive rod and reel reasonably reliable with a good casting. Ideal for beginners.
