Food coloring of a pure white dove?

Haha I do for my chicks and ducklings for me to distinguish them. You can use food coloring, but things rub off and stain. I can use vegetable based hair dyes. NOT hair dye at Walmart! You go to a hairdresser's shop and ask real hair dyes 100% vegetable base. You can order online, sometimes too much. The Common "Pantene" or whatever hair dyes adverse effects of chemicals in them and ruin very feathers and smoke can kill the bird! It also has to present the bird a bath every day or every other day for the pens will not dry because it causes the dye to get tough and dry quickly. Do not dye them down or bottom of the wings or the softest in the body under the wings. These feathers are easily damaged.
