Fishing Dry Flies
I need some tips on fly fishing?
well so far im going to a tank and u do its calm waters, then wat would be the best type of bait for fly fishing. dry fly or wet fly? im doing an island.
It would be useful to know where you are fishing and when you get there. It might help if we knew what kind of team that has fish and perhaps their level of competence. Unless we can generally say that if you are fishing in the next two weeks (in the hot summer weather) the coast or near the coast, you may luck with dry flies land (grasshoppers, beetles, ants, etc..) In many lakes, winds will be at different times of day when insects will probably hit land in the water, and becomes a kind of trap that can be imitated. May also hatches aquatic insects, but you should check it yourself – if you see fish feeding area regularly to determine what they are and imitate a fly. Without the hatches may be limited to fishing under the surface, and probably means little fish and leaching. If you can identify the small fishing along the coast, it is likely it is very likely that the fish are hunting the fish and if you can mimic the size and color with a wet fly, fishing this way. Leach and other creatures Marine caught dead in a float can also be productive.
