Fly Fish Line

What weight fly line should be used Steelhead fly fishing?
I am a beginner and do not know much about fly fishing.
It depends entirely on the conditions: Where fishing in any season river type size flies high water type fish, example, if you are fishing Olympic Peninsula in WA state in late winter, you'll want at least * * 8wt rod. If you are fishing for parts of the thugs half of the river, you can go out with a 4. As I know nothing about where to go fishing, I recommend a 8wt. It is a good of every weight, and will have the silver and chum salmon in offseason. And, as mentioned above, since you are a beginner, the best fit line to the bar. As you gain more experience, you see the bottom to underline or highlight your fishing rod based on the situation, but for now, stick to the rod weight. If you are interested, Trey Combs classic Fisheries Steelhead Fly "has a lot of useful information. ********** Going as light as the water is going to be fun, but take into account the welfare of trout rainbow, and in some cases this may mean adding to the detriment of the pivotal game. 8wt therefore recommended as an all-around at the bar – which I deal with the odd 15 + Pounds without abusing the fish, but do not feel too overwhelming for average 5 pounds more (especially in winter flow). In the summer I'm going to a 6-7wt depending of the situation and sometimes even more. But the warm waters of summer means a higher mortality rate, so try to meet heavier than I rather the opposite.
