Travel sprue?
I'm in the process of buying a fly-A-Way Stow rod part 5 of Cabela's to try to build a rod of iron Precision 4 or 5. I need a short film in this store on my bike. Has he ever tried it? Any and all answers, tips, etc. appreciated! Thanks in advance-Flyfish
Very interesting question. I have 2, 5-piece 9 'one white and one 5wt 8wt. I've played with two of them after reading your question and if I had to do it for you I use the 8wt and use of the 4 sections high and try to make a bar of 7 'reasonably fishing line # 6-10. You can cut the tip slightly but I would like to cut the butt section to reduce it to 7. Items will be unequal in length, but no way to avoid that. The guides I use a Fuji or guide Pac Bay with a cast frame high to minimize the number of guides needed. Start with a 12 # and down to a # 6 or # 7. I would say that 9 + tip guides. I'm basing my answer to your question and try to make a fly rod a classic of the scroll bar. He added that most of my attempts to stop this kind have not had much success.
