NASA is laying off 30,000 workers as soon as the last space shuttle mission is flown. We are ending all of it. No more Shuttles no more astronauts in space except those that can catch a ride on some Chinese or Russian craft. No more thought of the Moon that has been given to the Chinese by Obama.
We are going to go to Mars one far far away day but that is not funded.

He also said that another of his tasks was to encourage children to learn more about math and science. Why he would do this I have no idea, since his policies reveal a near total lack of understanding of those subjects. From the current obsession with wind and solar power (groan) to the gutting of NASA and turning it into a politically correct Muslim embassy, to the government imposed designs for American automobiles, the need for real engineers and scientists is now literally nonexistent. What is needed today is mindless bureaucrats who will nod and repeat “wind energy works.”
