Lamson Fly Reel

Anyone try using an ultralight fly rod combo, if so, how do you find that?
I just built
Lighter rig that I've used is a 4-weight. I think that I can not banish boom so far with it – even with twice the distance – I can not heavier platforms, it is best for small streams, and requires more discretion in the trout cautious approach. Need to touch the earth a hooked fish, too, that you are using lighter while. But I agree – easier on the arm, and a much more intimate feeling to action. I seen guys fishing, light some platforms (~ 2-weight?) in my current local favorite here in Maryland, but never tried 'em myself. Where are you with it?
