Okuma Guide Select
setting a new mark swimbait?
Swimbaits I'm new, so I used only 2 ounces and smaller ones on my background pin low. But now I want to use larger and will be using a guide rod Okuma swimbait select (2 oz-10 oz) and a C4 abu. Do you think a good setup?
Okuma quality are not all "low. Okuma has a nice little roll there, not sure on the stems. It should be fine for you, but if you've had enough, I would Shimano, St. Croix, G. Loomis (a bit pricey, D), or anything that has a good reputation. Okuma I see with a good reputation "yet." If they start out with a new line of quality products that I could see in the future. The C4 good reel, some said that the train is low (although many species of large catfish and others are captured by their drag 14 pounds) but with a simple drag-hand to fix the problem. There is some friction washers, you can get cheap (under $ 20 most of the time) to be held the brake to 22 pounds. I do not necessarily think you need to fish for Bass, but if you want then get it.
