Reel Large Arbor
I’m looking for a replacement spool for a Remington large arbor fly reel #RS27/8 weight?
Is the reel a cassette version or a “real” large arbor in that the whole spool is replaced and just the reel cage left, also whats the age of the reel, if that model is still in production you should be able to buy a new spare spool if not either a used one from somewhere like ebay or a one direct from redington. also are you sure that the model number isn’t RF2, if so new spools can be bought from them, check this out

As far as im aware they don’t make the RS reel anymore but you could contact them anyway. Also is the reel your using the cross water reel, as far as i know that’s the only RS model.
