Tungsten Fly Tying
admin December 29th, 2009

Calling all flight levels …….?
What is your favorite way to add weight to the bird is attached. With a bit of many things on the market that I wanted to know what was the most popular … cable, account manager tungsten, ceramic heads, heads of brass bead …. the list is long. Which method do you use most? One way to add weight to a nymph is to add a split shot lead Infront of the hook eye to tie, it works very well for nymphs deeper waters and is very simple, the color is not very clear either. Dale go, it works very well in the habits of river.
I use unless I am the son specifically wishing to join a fly with a Pearl, head, or a fly with "eyes" in this case, use the small LED "heavy" and eyes paint on the ends. Lead wire is best used when you want to hide the weight to add. With other methods, must include the weight (ball, etc) in the design fly.
